sleepy dog closeup, part 1. exhaustion due to swimming lessons the night before--which is win-win situation for Mac because that means that he 1. gets a bath and 2. gets to sleep in the bed cuz hes a clean-smell-good-pitbull.

so when my brother leaves for work in the mornings, Mac gets all perturbed and decides to hide from the light. "why anthony? why now? i was sleeping so peacefully in the dark under the covers." and then he decides to throw a hissy fit.

besides the fact that I see 11:11 and 1:11 on the clock like everyday, I now have been given wonderful tickets to the clippers game tonight and have realized that my seat is in section 111 row 11--and you guessed it, SEAT 13!

lunch, for 1.

was running a work errand today and was super hungry on the way back. stumbled upon "india's oven" tucked away on the side of the road in westwood. walked in and said "lunch, for 1." felt kinda weird--i never usually go eat out by myself but to my surprise I would feel right at home. 1. buffet was 7.95 (another thing i "never usually do" is buffets--i feel like a glutton. but this was no ordinary buffet) 2. the naan was fresh and hot 3. the food was a rollercoaster for my tastebuds 3. it was just what i needed.

i had such a peaceful lunch. i was able to eat without long pauses for talking which is something i can appreciate--uninterrupted eating. shortly after I arrived more and more people scooted in BY THEMSELVES! I guess I've been sleep on the best indian buffet for 7 bucks in town. we all sat at our own table, just ourselves. no company. and it was great.

whenever I get sad or down, I watch this video. there's nothing like seeing somebody act a fool--my good friend TAJ serenading Stanley the friendly poodle--as soon as he started singing, stan went in to complete submission mode. I LOVE THIS! LOL!
